In this podcast we are showing how to rearrange your slides in Smartboard Notebook. We cover copying slides from one document to another. We also talk about moving slides within the document itself. Shelly Moses has given us a great example of a importance order lesson that we will share out. Lastly, we talk about a gallery collection file called “directions” that you can download and edit.
In this podcast we take a look at a template called Guess the picture. Here is how it works. You put a picture or a problem or a sentence behind a few squares. You have a student and their partner go to the Smartboard and delete one square. They and the rest of the class try to guess what the picture is from the revealed area. If they don’t guess correctly, another set of two people come up and delete another square. This occurs until the picture is guessed. Scott has designed a few cool holiday items for the podcast. He shows a really nice snowflake maker.
This podcast is filled with how to work the animations in Smartboard Notebook 10. We cover the Fly in, and the Fade in. It is a great way to add a liitle extra something to your lesson. We also cover a couple of cool websites. Happy Turkey Day.
In this episode we cover many of the random generators in Smartboard. They are flashed based and easy to edit. Some of them on this weeks episode include: Random name chooser, Random group maker, and a random number generator. We show how to find them, and also store them in the gallery. We also discuss a great site at www.pbs.org.
This is our first podcast since we started school. We cover a lesson structure called Category Sorting. With this sturcture you do not name the categories. Students will work together to formulate categories and also sort the items into the categories. We also cover our new website teachingwithsmartboard.com.
