This is our first podcast since we started school. We cover a lesson structure called Category Sorting. With this sturcture you do not name the categories. Students will work together to formulate categories and also sort the items into the categories. We also cover our new website teachingwithsmartboard.com. Do you want fast interactive lessons? The Lesson Activity Toolkit is a great way to start. There are ready to go lesson structures as well as tool that you can easily incorporate into your lessons. We cover three different lesson structures this week. There is category sort, and keyword match, and image match. These are all very easy lessons to use and edit. There are a few examples from math lessons as well. If you don’t have version 10 of smartboard notebook software, you should get it ASAP.
