  1. Your old site, from before you MOOved had a list of all the episodes with short descriptions. This was more useful than the current list of month/year. One has to browse month by month to find a topic….

Your RSS Feed button is not working.

  3. Hey guys,
It is so good to have you back. It’s like reaching the oasis after a long, dry trek through the desert. Welcome back! I’m liking the new website and the new downloads. You are my favorite podcast and I always sing your praises when I give workshops or seminars.
    Thanks for all you do.

I have tried to download several times from the resources page, but haven’t been able to complete the process with any success! Suggestions?

  7. I’ve tried with both Firefox and Safari but get the result. When I go to your Resources page and click on Templates (either from the categories or from the chart, I get a gooble-de-gook page of nonsense text. Thanks for the hard work it takes to share your ideas!!

If you are having problems downloading our files, we are working on this. If you are using firefox right click while on the link and “Save Link As” and save it to your computer. Then go to the file and open it. If you are using Safari, you might have to download it and then go to the file and delete the .htm at the end of the file. Then you should be able to open it. Sorry about the inconvience.

    Hi,

I would like to have the opportunity to talk with you regarding on site training opportunities. We are a 1 to 1 laptop school district grades 5 through 12 and have nine classrooms that are using SMARTBoards. My goal is to have SMARTBoards and interactive response systems in all instructional areas.

    Thanks,

    Keith

    Hey Keith,
Scott and I have done many Smartboard Trainings for districts all over. We would love the opportunity to work with your school district. We provide a wide variety of training. We will be in touch with you,

Do you have any ideas on how to teach Conics using the SmartBoard?

  12. Ami VanderSluis

I am a music teacher who received a SMARTboard this past fall. I have no training except for what I have learned from your podcasts. Do you have any great ideas for music? I assume this is a challenge but would love to see you explore it on an episode!

I am having trouble downloading your latest podcast from iTunes – has anyone else mentioned this?
    Love your podcast,
    Charlotte

Thanks for a great podcast. I must admit I have not viewed all of them, but have enjoyed many of them. As such, you may have covered this suggestion in an episode I did not see or it may have already have been posted. If so, I appologize.
I don’t know how many times I have used a Notebook file in class and then inadvertently saved the changes I made (drawn lines, arrows, etc.). Your viewers may be interested in knowing how to “lock” down a file so that it is “Read Only”. In this way, once your file/presentation is exactly as you want it, you can not accidentally save changes to a file you did not intend.

I see lessons and ideas about teaching math and reading… is there a place where music teachers share the ways they use their smartboard?

  16. Jean Coonrod

I want a Smartboard for my classroom so much that I have decided that maybe I will just buy it myself. I teach in a school with 1500 7th,8th,& 9th graders and just over 100 teachers, yet we have only one board in the building. There aren’t too many in the whole district. I have been studying your site for justification to do this, and I also want to know just what I could purchase to get the most bang for my buck. I will be retiring in three years and plan to take it with me! Any advice? Also, since I live in downstate IL, are there any workshops you may be doing in the next few months in this direction? Thanks for any info you can help me get started with. (I do know there is a source to purchase in either Peoria or St Louis; I am equidistance from both.
