This podcast is dedicated to the wonderful people of Cordova Alaska. We were asked to do some Smartboard Training up in Alaska and we said YES. It was a wonderful week up there. Beyond the beauty of Alaska, the people of Cordova Alaska were AWESOME. They were generous, welcoming, fun loving, and very proud of their city and state. Special thanks goes out to Mary and Keith for setting it all up for us. You are the BEST. So beyond talking about Alaska, we will talk about the teaching template “Matching Pairs” That is template Q in your book and in the teaching template gallery collection file. In this podcast we take a look at a template called Guess the picture. Here is how it works. You put a picture or a problem or a sentence behind a few squares. You have a student and their partner go to the Smartboard and delete one square. They and the rest of the class try to guess what the picture is from the revealed area. If they don’t guess correctly, another set of two people come up and delete another square. This occurs until the picture is guessed. Scott has designed a few cool holiday items for the podcast. He shows a really nice snowflake maker.
