In this episode we cover many of the new math tools available with the Smartboard Notebook Software. The tools that we cover today are shapes and measurement. If you are a math teacher, this is a great podcast for you.
In this podcast we are showing how to rearrange your slides in Smartboard Notebook. We cover copying slides from one document to another. We also talk about moving slides within the document itself. Shelly Moses has given us a great example of a importance order lesson that we will share out. Lastly, we talk about a gallery collection file called “directions” that you can download and edit.
This is our last podcast of this school year. We will probably have a podcast this summer, but look for us to have more podcasts in the fall when school starts back up.
We cover some of the things you might want to do this summer with your Smartboard. We give some lesson ideas for you to try, as well as some links for you to go to.

What should you know Day one with Smartboard? This is the podcast to view. If you are new to Smartboard, you should tune in. This episode will explain the timeline you can expect during the first year of your Smartboard use. It will give you step by step instructions for getting your Smartboard up and running. Lastly it will give you some tips for using Smartboard Notebook Version 10 software for the first time.
Do you want fast interactive lessons? The Lesson Activity Toolkit is a great way to start. There are ready to go lesson structures as well as tool that you can easily incorporate into your lessons. We cover three different lesson structures this week. There is category sort, and keyword match, and image match. These are all very easy lessons to use and edit. There are a few examples from math lessons as well. If you don’t have version 10 of smartboard notebook software, you should get it ASAP.
