In this podcast we explore some online interactive games as well as some interactive gallery options. Interactive games are excellent for students to use with the SMARTBoard. Of course we have a few jokes in there as well.
In this episode we cover the 800 Series SMARTBoard as well as some teaching ideas that incorporate the dual touch. One idea like having one person an eraser and one person a writer. Another idea is having a student on the left side of an equation and one person on the right side. Then they have to work the problem together. We also took the idea from the game Minute to Win it on TV and use the game BREAKFAST SCRAMBLER to scramble pictures. It has been a really fun activity. We are still searching for ways to incorporate it into curricular material.
Episode 80 of Teaching with SMARTBoard.
In this episode we cover the teaching template called “Four Corner Sorting”. It is a remake of our very first podcast. The teaching templates are a free download available at the resources page or by clicking here. In addition to the free teaching templates we have written a book that covers the same templates in detail, except in paper form with directions. Click here to go to the book information page. In all of our podcasts we stess the need for students to get to the SMARTBoard. We also cover a short step by step on the screen capture icon that is on your SMARTBoard notebook toolbar.
