We are exploring a few interactive pre-made Smartboard lessons from the gallery today. This includes a lesson on dissecting a frog. This is fun.You might want to teach science after seeing some of these interactive lessons. One of our listeners, Shelly Moses, sent these in to us.We also talk about a website called Classroom 2.0.
In this podcast we try to give a little structure to our lessons with something called, “Fill in the missing pieces”.By giving the framework for the students they catch a pattern quickly. Our examples are all mathematics related; however, this can be transformed to any subject very easily.Students are asked to solve problems out of the normal sequence including backwards. We also talk about how to save a page to the gallery. As always, we have a couple of jokes for you.Hope you can join us.
Why should you choose SMARTboard (or any IWB)?We cover a variety of reasons why this might be a good idea. We also review the classic lesson structure called Characteristic Sorting with many examples.
