Teaching with Smartboard Episode #48 Lesson Gallery

We are exploring a few interactive pre-made Smartboard lessons from the gallery today.  This includes a lesson on dissecting a frog.  This is fun.  You might want to teach science after seeing some of these interactive lessons.  One of our listeners, Shelly Moses, sent these in to us.  We also talk about a website called Classroom 2.0.

Teaching with Smartboard Episode #47 Fill in the Missing Pieces (template E)

Lesson Template E

In this podcast we try to give a little structure to our lessons with something called, “Fill in the missing pieces”.  By giving the framework for the students they catch a pattern quickly.  Our examples are all mathematics related; however, this can be transformed to any subject very easily.  Students are asked to solve problems out of the normal sequence including backwards.  We also talk about how to save a page to the gallery.  As always, we have a couple of jokes for you.  Hope you can join us.
