The tutorial is using the freehand screen capture tool.

Fill in the Missing Pieces

Lesson Template E

Hosts Scott Miller and David Sladkey of Naperville Central High School in IL talk about a lesson involving Filling in the Missing Pieces.  This lesson structure shows how you can give a simple definition in notebook and still engage students minds. The tip of the day deals with making regular shapes in smartboard like a perfect circle, or hexegon or any shape.  Also described in this episode is a activity that you can have your students do when in the middle of class to get their brains and bodies moving a little bit called rocks, paper, scissors, Math.  Lastly we cover how to make a brain based activity in powerpoint.  We export a smartboard document to powerpoint and then change some settings in powerpoint to make it a timed activity.
